Public Hearing on Proposed changes to the Zoning and Land Use Ordinance

In accordance with the provisions of NH RSA 675:3 and 675:7, the Brookline Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing to consider amendments to the Zoning & Land Use Ordinance on January 12, 2023 at 7:00 PM. at the Brookline Town Hall. If necessary, the Public Hearing will be continued on January 26, 2023.

Section 300 – General Provisions. Update language regarding septic system standards and enforcement procedures.

Section 1400 – Growth Management Ordinance – Update to conform to changes in NH RSAs and update formatting.

Section 2200 – Housing for Older Persons - Update to conform to changes in NH RSAs, clarify that subdivision plan regulations can be used as appropriate, standardize dwelling size, update community center standards to be ADA compliant, and remove sections on Impact fees and Exactions as these are elsewhere in the Ordinance.
