Brookline seeking Two Residents for Ambulance Billing Evaluation Committee

Brookline is seeking two residents to serve as part of a six member committee to evaluate whether the town should bill for ambulance services. The committee will review potential costs and benefits of billing, and make recommendations to the Selectboard on whether a warrant article should be placed on the 2025 Town Meeting warrant to reverse the current policy where patients are not billed.

The committee will begin work in May, and work through October. If a warrant article is deemed desirable, further committee work may continue through March 2025.  The committee will include the Ambulance Chief, members of the Selectboard and Finance Committee, and a member of the Brookline Ambulance Service

Interested residents should send an email to town.administrator@brooklinenh.gov by Thursday, April 11 expressing their interest. All committee meetings will be open to the public, and will include a public comment portion.
