How to Register to Vote:

There are three ways to register to vote in Brookline:

  • Supervisors of the Checklist hold publicized voter registration sessions before each election and as noticed.
  • Register on Election Day at the polling place. (not at Town or School Meetings)
  • Register at the Town Clerk’s office.

What you need to Bring:

Registrants must provide proof of:

  • Citizenship  (passport, naturalization paperwork or birth certificate)
  • Age (drivers license, birth certificate or passport)
  • Domicile in Brookline. (utility bill or tax bill)
  • Identity (Picture Id: school, work, driver’s license, passport)
  • If moving from out of state – you need to register.
  • If moving from another town in New Hampshire – you need to register in Brookline.
  • If you are 17 and will be turning 18 before the next election you are eligible to register to vote.
