Voter Registration
How to Register to Vote:
There are three ways to register to vote in Brookline:
- Supervisors of the Checklist hold publicized voter registration sessions before each election and as noticed.
- Register on Election Day at the polling place. (not at Town or School Meetings)
- Register at the Town Clerk’s office.
What you need to Bring:
Registrants must provide proof of:
- Citizenship (passport, naturalization paperwork or birth certificate)
- Age (drivers license, birth certificate or passport)
- Domicile in Brookline. (utility bill or tax bill)
- Identity (Picture Id: school, work, driver’s license, passport)
- If moving from out of state – you need to register.
- If moving from another town in New Hampshire – you need to register in Brookline.
- If you are 17 and will be turning 18 before the next election you are eligible to register to vote.
